I read the Mayo Clinic article, and I didn’t really need to look for ways to volunteer. I already do quite a bit of volunteering – Girl Scouts, church, food pantry, school board, etc.

I clicked to donate, played games that give, and I worked four hours at the food pantry on top of my usual volunteer duties.

Completely by accident, I did one of the activities 2x last week. I slipped a love note into my son’s lunch bag (in code, of course, so it wouldn’t be embarrassing if found!) Now maybe I’ll do a “Caught in the Act” form for an OCL mentor. Round 17 accomplished. On to 18…

I’m catching up again…I definitely took a look at the sites on this challenge, however, I was frustrated that the most fun site, Wordle, is blocked on our staff computers. I guess I’ll have to have my fun at home!

I’ve already done Facebook and FreeRice, but Guess the Google and Six Word Memoirs (yes, I wrote mine!) were new to me. I loved them!

Round Thirteen: Time for some fun!

Fun exercise is easy in the summer! My son and I play bocce ball and shuffleboard on the bayfront in summer. We ride our bikes to the bay and sometimes “joust” with our shuffleboard cues on the way there! And as I mentioned before, we also try to kayak in the summer whenever possible. If only work didn’t get in the way of my fun!

As for favorite movies – not much can compare with Monty Python and the Holy Grail and Duck Soup!

Round Eleven: Keep Moving

I’m still moving, so I didn’t really need this challenge, although I’ll keep it all in mind since we’ve got 10 more to go!

I read the article on sleep and exercise. I’m a bad sleeper, so it might help me.

I kept my committment to kayak with my husband on Thursday mornings. He was a good sport today, kayaking with no complaint at 8:30am after working all night. At least he will sleep well tonight.
